Disability-Related Health Supports provide care to respond to the disability-related health needs of a participant where that care is not the usual responsibility of the health system. Line items from the Improved Daily Living Support Category have been temporarily duplicated into the Assistance with Daily Life Support Category so that participants can have greater access to these supports if they need them:

Please note that the NDIA have advised that the CORE line items above cannot be used for circumstances where the support is not linked to one of these approved Disability-Related Health Supports. The following list of fundable supports is not exhaustive and supports may be delivered in a range of ways:

- Diabetes management supports
- Continence supports
- Wound and pressure care supports
- Podiatry supports
- Epilepsy supports

These support items can be delivered to individual participants subject to the rules set out in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. These support items can only be delivered by the following types of therapists, and by therapy assistants operating under the delegation and supervision of one of the following types of professionals:
- Dietitian – A person who is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with the Dieticians Association of Australia.
- Occupational Therapist – A person who has a current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Physiotherapist – A person who has a current AHPRA Registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Podiatrist – A person who has a current AHPRA Registration as a Podiatrist.
- Psychologist – A person who has a current AHPRA Registration as a Psychologist.
- Speech Pathologist – A person who is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) as approved by Speech Pathology Australia.
- Other Professional – A person who is not one of the types of professionals listed above but who the provider considers to be an appropriate professional to deliver in line with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission’s requirements for the Therapeutic Supports Registration Group.
