Under the NDIS, you can choose to have Plan Management and Support Coordination services included in your plan. These services work together to help you to make the most of your NDIS funding in different ways.
How is this funded?
Plan Management and Support Coordination services are both fully paid for by your NDIS plan, meaning that there is no out-of-pocket expense for you.
If you want to have Plan Management and/or Support Coordination added to your NDIS plan, you can seek assistance from your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). You can find information about who your LAC is and how you can contact them on the last page of your NDIS Plan.
It is important to know that anyone can get Plan Management included in their plan. However, the NDIA will look at your situation and decide whether you’re eligible to receive Support Coordination. You will not be considered eligible if you or your informal supports can manage these tasks.
